Our Departments
Department of External Trade
The department vision complements the corporate mission that is to Increase market access for Vanuatu’s international trade through the preferential trade arrangements that encourages exports and imports
Department of Foreign Affairs
The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (DFAIC) cares for the provision of policy development, support and policy advice to the Ministry in managing and maintaining amicable relations with bilateral and multilateral partners.
Corporate Overview and Structure
The organizational structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs International Cooperation and External Trade (MFAICET) shows a hierarchy whereby the Minister is the head of the Ministry followed by the Director General. The Director General oversees the Corporate Service Unit and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Department of External Trade.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation provides oversight of all overseas missions; High Commissions, Embassies and Consulate Generals.
